A saint, a mystic who lived in Shirdi while he was in body. He lived like an ordinary man, a beggar. He has tremendous compassion. He has tremendous powers. His life can be called a carnival of miracles. He attracted people through His miracles to guide them towards spirituality, love and compassion. Baba's grace is still doing it. Millions still visit His sacred tomb shrine in Shirdi called Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir.

Sai Baba Arati Hindi and English pdf file download


A devotee of Shirdi Sai Baba  from Houston have sent the following Baba_Image mail with the Sai Baba Arati  written in Hindi in pdf format.

Dear sai bhakta bandhu,
I would like to upload a pdf prinatble file of 6 Sai aartis in devnagri script. The artis have been formatted to print on standard 8.5 X 11 paper. The aarti sequence is from our local Sainath temple in Houston. Please post this attachment so that anybody interested can easily download and print the pdf file. 1. Aarti Saibaba ( Composed by Shri Madhav Adkar )
This  Arati Sai Baba has also been posted on Sai Baba videos  blog along with video Lyrics in English, Marathi and meaning in Hindi.

This Arati has two interesting stories of Sai Baba.
There is a story that Shri Madhav Adkar the composer of this Aarti. With the paper in the pocket on which this Arati was written, he went to Dwarkamai for Sai Baba’s darshan. Sitting in the gracious Saireal environment of Dwarkami and Sai Baba, he had a wish to show the same to Baba. But could not gather enough courage to do so.

Baba called him and asked him what he was hiding in the pocket. He had to give that piece of paper on which the Aarti was written, which was to be sung daily in Shirdi and many temples around the world. Many home temples of Shirdi Sai lovers around the world. Baba looked at it and gave a pleasing look of approval.

Another well known story of this Arati is that it was sent by Sai Baba to Nanasaheb Chandorkar in the famous Jamner miracle described in Shri Sai SatCharitra Chapter 33. However in the psalm book of Shri Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir by Sri Sainathuni Sarath Babuji. In the Moot Point Shri Sarath Babuji points out. The Jamner miracle happened in 1904 – 05 A.D. The custom of offering Arati to Sai Baba BABA'S PORTRAIT PAINTED BY JAYKAR started in December 1910 A.D. Rest can be followed on the Moot Point link.

The Arati Sai Baba book by Sri Sainathuni Sarath Babuji in pdf format can downloaded here. This one is a very good book of Shirdi Aratis, with English transliteration of the original Marathi Arati Songs. Each Arati has English translation, Introduction and commentary.
