Jai SaiNath - Aum Sai Ram

Nanasaheb Dengle’s house in Nimgaon was always full of servants. Dengle family was very famous. Any government personnel who visited Nimgaon were the guests of the Dengle family and they used to sleep in Dengle family’s bungalow.
Nanasaheb was issueless although he had two wives. By Sai Baba’s grace this became possible and the news spread in all the ten directions. After this incident many learned men and other people started coming to Shirdi to bow to the Lotus Feet of Sai Baba.
When a son was born to Nanasaheb Dengle, the whole family was so overflowed with happiness that space to absorb the happiness was insufficient in their hearts
Nanasaheb Dengle ordered to prepare various types of dishes for Sai Baba. The servants prepared a variety of items (total of 56 items, Chhapan Bhog as is commonly called) to be offered to Sai Baba.
They went to Shirdi with all the variety of foods served in silver plates and bowls, to be served to Sai Baba admist band and music. Baba stared at all the items for a moment but He did not touch them. Baba had no taste and so He was not in want of all these eatables. So if we want to serve Him, only His mere glance is enough. At that moment, a hungry dog came to the threshold of Dwarkamai. How could our beloved Sai Baba even touch the food before feeding the hungry dog? He ordered that the dish full of eatables must be given to that hungry dog.
This shows that Sai Baba was not only the God of humans, but of all the animals, ants, insects, birds and of everything in this world.
Nanasaheb Dengle could not speak a word but he was very sad. As the moon light becomes white when the sun shines brightly in the afternoon, so was the face of Nanasaheb Dengle. He thought, “The dish full of eatables was given to the dog! Oh, I prepared the food with so much of love”.
Thinking so, Nanasaheb again prepared the dish for Baba with the remaining food brought. But this time also Baba did not even touch the food. Of course, He had accepted the love of Nanasaheb.
Wherever Sai Baba is offered food now also, He surely comes and even put a glance over the food. Baba may come in the form of housefly or a mosquito and there is no doubt that the food is accepted.
Those who don’t even drink tea in the morning and evening without offering to Sai Baba, there would be no dearth of food and clothes in their homes by the grace by Sai Baba.
